From New York, artists such as Lynda Benglis, Robert Longo, Richard Hambleton, Futura, David Wojnarowicz, Tony Oursler, Robert Mapplethorpe and Arturo Vega coalesce around the iconography of the Ramones and Patti Smith; from London, works by Leigh Bowery, COUM Transmissions (Genesis P.
