First Edition (2018). Four paperback volumes contained in a slipcase signed by Chris Killip. Edition of 250. No markings, new condition. SKINNINGROVE - THE STATION - PORTRAITS - THE LAST SHIPS A powerful, moving and personal selection of work by Chris Killip thematically brought together in four publications as a limited slipcase edition of 250, signed and numbered. Over a total of 124 pages, these high-quality newsprints, tabloid-format publications feature photographs spanning 1970–89, with many unpublished before. The design is a direct riff on Erich Mendelsohn's 1926 AMERIKA, that hailed the burgeoning American industrial architectures and new era of capitalism of the time, with Chris's photographs documenting its decline only 50 or so years later on this side of the Atlantic.
